Contest! SoCal Salty & Costa Sunglasses Facebook 500

Costa presents a check to CCA

Costa presents a check to CCA

I’ve been very lucky to be associated with Costa Sunglasses, pretty much since the inception of the blog.  I love that the company makes high quality products for all us salties to protect our eyes when we’re out there on the water.  Aside from making great shades to wear on the water, Costa is also a great supporter of causes that benefit our fisheries.  One that they’ve been involved with now for the last 3 years has been their partnership with country musician Kenny Chesney, and the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA).

I was introduced to CCA, when I fished for salmon on the Columbia River, between Washington and Oregon a couple years back.  Up there, rod building great Gary Loomis started a chapter to help protect wild salmon.  CCA has been an active voice for sport fisheries all over the country, and Costa’s generous support has helped allow them to do their great work.

Costa has a new line of the Kenny Chesney limited edition glasses this year and will donate a portion of all sales to CCA.  You can see which models HERE.  And you can win a FREE Costa/Kenny prize package (see below) by entering our contest.

Here are the rules:

1. Like the Costa Sunglasses page on Facebook

2. Like the SoCal Salty page on Facebook

3. Post your favorite fish pic on the SoCal Salty page and shout out Costa using their See what’s out there tagline.  ex. Hey @costa sunglasses, “See what’s out there in SoCal!”   (The @ is so it links to Costa’s Facebook page)

Thank you to Costa Sunglasses, Kenny Chesney and Coastal Conservation Association for your support of sportsfishermen!

We’ll run the contest until I hit 500 Likes on the SoCal Salty Facebook page.  Good luck!
