Salty Spotlight: Go Fish LA!

Go Fish LA!

As readers of the blog know, for me, catching the fish is only part of the story.  I enjoy the cameraderie of being with friends on the water.  Time on the ocean is fun for me whether I catch or not.  When I do catch though…cooking and eating the catch is a BIG part of my enjoyment.  So you can imagine how excited I was to find out that local chef and author, Lucy Lean, organizes fishing trips with top chefs!

The next trip is in 2 weeks, August 4th.  I asked Lucy what chefs would be fishing this trip,

“Chefs coming on this trip are yet to be finalized but so far we have Rick Moonen (rm seafood) flying in from Vegas for the trip, Walter Manzke (former chef at Church and State), Rory Hermann (Bouchon Beverly Hills), Jeff Cerciello and Michel Darmon (Farmshop) Michael Cimarusti (Providence), Josiah Citrin (Mélisse), David Lefevre (MB Post), Ray Garcia (Fig), Alain Giraud (Maison Giraud), Brian Moyers (BLT Steak), Dave Dahni (Grilled Cheese Truck), Andrea Cavaliere (Cecconi’s), Robert Dahni (Chef and author), Craig Min (LA Mill), and our very own mixologist for the boat Matthew Biancaniello (Roosevelt Hotel).”

Go Lucy! 🙂  So go out, enjoy a great day of fishing Catalina Island (yellowtail anyone?), eat and drink the best galley food EVER, and hang with the top chefs in LA.  Sounds too good to be true?  Wait, that’s not all…a special buddy/couple discount for my readers!  Enter discount code SALTY to get 2 VIP tickets for $200 ($50 savings).  Buy now before they sell out!
